Journaling reads:

Chloe is a remarkably picky eater. If it isn't some form of carb on the plate she is not interested in eating it. I tease her that she is my chunky monkey as her food groups consist of bread, rice, cereal, waffles, French fries and chicken nuggets. It is rare, but fortunately becoming more frequent, that we see her eat a piece of pizza - plain of course, but at least we're getting somewhere. I think.

The journaling says:

Claire laughs with complete abandon. Utter Joy. And snorts. And giggles. And bright eyes with covered mouth. A lot of "whoops" and then a blush of embarrassment. Then back to laughing with complete abandon again. This can go on for quite a while before she gathers her composure. She is so engaging. Everyone around her can't help but smile, and maybe giggle.

LOAD: Day 21

I've managed to stay in the game for three out of the four weeks! This has been such a fun experience. I'm really toying with a lot of different styles and materials. Indeed, using up a ton of stuff. My studio looks like a bomb (or child) went off in it!

The journaling reads:
1. I am a sport fan, not a team fan. So, though I will watch and enjoy pro sports, I do not care who played or who won, though with my kids it's a different story! 2. Most of my summer holidays as a child were spent in Truro, Nova Scotia and Cape Breton with my mother's parents. 3. I graduated valedictorian from my high school. 4. I took voice lessons for eight years and seriously considered a career in opera - but I would have had to quit smoking, which I did not do (yes, yes, I have quit since!) 5. My first crafty love was needlepoint and there are times when I miss it but the materials out there are not as nice as they used to be - in the old days. 6. I am allergic to the outdoors and it stinks! Even our hypo-allergenic dog (Elvis) was not hypo enough for me (or Claire) but he is now living a nice life in Red Deer. 7. My first car was an ugly light grey Ford Tempo ... replaced by a very sexy charcoal coloured RX7 - my "poor girl" Porche the minute the lease was up! 8. My favourite movie is Pleasantville - great story, great message. 9. All I ever wanted to be is a good mum; I think I am and hope to become a great mum to my four kids. 10. I am forever writing lists. If I don't have a list I flounder and seem to go in circles looking for something to do! So I write a list ;) 11. My favourite meal is a lobster roll from Captain Frosty's in Dennis, MA. 12. I really enjoy that first crisp day in September, the hint that fall is arriving. 13. I received my first film SLR camera when I was 12 and I have not been without a camera since ... Canon, of course. 14. For the life of me I cannot figure out Photo Shop Elements. Really. It's getting sad. 15. Both of my boys are hockey defencemen. I look at the game differently than the parents of forwards. 16. I believe if you have something genuinely nice to say - spit it out! You might just make someone's day. 17. Though I don't go all "googly eyed" over famous people, I do love me some George Clooney - since the ER sitcom, not drama! 18. I admire my daughter Chloe (9) as she is comfortable in her own skin and lives a life of abandon. Hard to raise, much to envy. 19. I think Claire and Cole could win the Amazing Race! 20. I was "never" going to blog, ever. Um. Never say never, eh? 21. I always keep my expectations of others low - keeps me from being disappointed and always pleasantly surprised. 22. I laugh. I laugh loud. I laugh often. 23. I really do not like talking on the phone. Well, I don't like calling anyone, but if you call me, I'll keep you on the phone for hours! 24. As a child of the energy crisis, I have always been "green" and always look to become greener. 25. I was very athletic through my teens and early twenties. I'm thinking it's time for a revival!
