Whew, that was tough to get out! Words I never thought I'd ever write.
I am thrilled. Beyond thrilled. Tickled! Kinda, wow. this is neat. A little nervous. A lot excited.
Ella Publishing Co. is one of the brilliant creative collectives pulled of the ashes that once was Simple Scrapbooks. It is full of energy, inspiration and kindness. It is charming and quirky and oh, so much fun. I have had the tremendous privilege to get to know a number of it's talented members: Monica McNeill, Lain Ehmann, Angie Lucas, Barb Wong, Tami Morrison either through Facebook, Twitter, LOAD, via e-mail or in person. What's better is that I'm in a friendly place. A warm and inviting place; in the firm and kind embrace of friends.
Ella is one place I like hanging out. And the November e-zine is where you'll find some of my work this month.
Thank you so much, Lain, for choosing my happy layout:
Thank you so much, Monica for asking me for a couple of layouts:
What a thrill to be a part of such a tremendous group of creative women. If even in a small way.
Now, if you haven't been over to Ella Publishing Co. yet, what're you waiting for, get on over there! And, when there's a page call, go for it. I never thought I'd write the word "published" because I was afraid to submit a layout. I was afraid to hold myself up to comparison and criticism. You know, it's not so bad. Hey, if you don't play you can't win, right?
