Chloe is a remarkably picky eater. If it isn't some form of carb on the plate she is not interested in eating it. I tease her that she is my chunky monkey as her food groups consist of bread, rice, cereal, waffles, French fries and chicken nuggets. It is rare, but fortunately becoming more frequent, that we see her eat a piece of pizza - plain of course, but at least we're getting somewhere. I think.

Got Sketch 103: Challenge

Prior to the actual class starting on Got Sketch 103, we were given a sketch to do. We were supposed to use the sketch and use something old, new, borrowed and blue. Well, I didn't read all of the instructions (!!) so I managed to do all but the blue! I don't take enough vertical shots to have managed anything else, but it was still fun to do:

Got Sketch 103

I really wasn't sure if I was going to sign up for this course. I have previously taken Got Sketch 101 and Got Sketch 102 and learned a ton of stuff. Valerie Salmon and her team are very creative and supportive. I love their ideas and their sketches. The community they have developed is wonderful.

So, this morning I signed up!

The classroom opens tomorrow, February 5th with the course starting on February 9th.

Got Sketch? Updates

I have really enjoyed my experience with and what I've learned through Valerie Salmon and her Got Sketch? classes. I received a note today that she has updated a ton of stuff:

• Her Got Sketch? blog is up-to-date with a brand new sketch #69
• Her Got Sketch? blog now includes a gallery and the layouts uploaded already are simply inspirational!
• Her Got Sketch? blog is offering a challenge with some prizes - plural, plenty to go around. All entries are due by Sunday, November 2nd, so lots of time to get a couple of entries in.
• Her Got Sketch? blog includes a freebie download which will be GREAT for anyone hesitant or new to using sketches. It is a step-by-step guide to mastering Sketch #69
