I found this "fortune" on Elizabeth Dillow's blog while I was playing "catch up" this morning. And indeed there was a lot of catching up to do with National Scrapbook Day posts filling my reader to overflowing: 317 posts to read this morning!
My weekend was a bit hectic, so I was not able to spend much time scrapbooking, but we did spent plenty of time making memories with activities and friends.
I am currently "overwhelmed" with the amount of scrapbooking stuff I own and have to organize and projects I have to create and have to ... WAIT! I realized that I don't have to, I choose to and that is what has to be kept in perspective.
The fortune found this morning was just the reminder I needed before heading down to the studio.
And, if you find yourself in a "creative rut", the brilliant Ali Edwards posted on her blog Breaking Out Of A Creative Rut and it has some great suggestions. Even if you haven't hit "rut" stage, this may keep you from heading that way!
