As a mother of four active kids, silence makes me nervous.
I went off in search of the cause. Claire was, as is normal for any growing 13-year-old, sleeping. The other three were nowhere to be found in the house.
They couldn't be found out front on their bikes, scooters or ripsticks either.
The last place, as always, the back yard where all three could be found. With their golf clubs. Shooting balls AT THE HOUSE. (Okay, wiffle balls, but I didn't know that at the time!)
The silence was broken when their yelling mother put an immediate stop to that particular form of insanity.
I wonder what they'll get into this afternoon?
It's going to be a long Spring break, of that I am sure.
