Effective March 1, 2009 please be advised that we will be closing our Oakville store.
Thank you to everyone
who has supported us, we have enjoyed serving Oakville's community and
surrounding areas. Scrapalicious Inc. will continue to carry premier
scrapbooking and stamping products in our Mississauga store.
Any Cupcake Club memberships and gift certificates purchased in
Oakville have always and will continue to be honoured in Mississauga.
Items on order or on hold will be transferred to Mississauga for pick
up.
On Sunday March 8, from 10 AM to 4 PM
(at our Oakville location) we will have a Customer Appreciation
Sale-a-bration. We hope you can stop by, enjoy some savings and light
refreshments. We do have some store fixtures and furnishings for sale,
these items are sold cash and carry.

I was tempted to head over but decided to stay home. A combination of reasons: I have enough supplies (still haven't purchased anything since late December - from the Scrapalicious Mississauga location) and since I scrapbook at home, I wouldn't have been saying "bye" to anyone I was acquainted with anyway.
I am disappointed that the store is closing. Though I'm not in the least bit surprised. So not surprised that I had tried to pry some information from the owner while at the Mississauga location in December. He was very tight lipped. Too much so, you know what I mean?
I'm becoming more and more convinced that on-line is the way for me to purchase supplies. I have been fortunate finding good solid suppliers in the U.S. and though I loathe the cost of shipping and duty, product is, at least, available.
It's a brutal business. Sad to see another one go.
