After much delay, I've finally started the Stacy Julian "Have More Fun" course. I signed up for it and was supposed to participate in September, but that month quickly got logistically out-of-hand and there was nothing more I could put on my plate in addition to the start of school, baseball playoffs and hockey tryouts. Now that we're in a routine, this project will be more reflective of our here-and-now!
Did you take this class? What did you think of it? What did you learn through the process?
So far, I've enjoyed the "assignment" aspect. Each day we are asked to capture, collect and record a selected group of photos, ephemera and observations for 30 consecutive days. These assignments are put on a 12x6 layout for 30 days. In addition, a 12x12 layout is to be done of daily routines, one layout to represent the routines each day of the week. So at the end, there should also be 7 larger layouts. FUN!
I'm using the suggested colour palette, some really great American Crafts pens, the "Fancy Pants" gated-album and I'll do my best to follow the assignments as written :)
