is the title of a new photo challenge, and I definitely have the song imbedded in my head!
My talented cyber-friend, Jack, is back! I've missed her greatly and am thrilled to be able to visit with her on a more regular basis. She has come up with a new weekly photography challenge:
Here is the scoop:
+ Wake up
+ Have your camera handy (doesn't need to be a fancy camera; a point and shoot or even your phone camera will do)
+ Wait for that perfect moment
+ And shoot, shoot, shoot away!
+ Post your Sunday morning shot on your site and tell us about it
+ Visit my Sunday morning post to add your link located at the bottom of my post
Simple. Right?
I love that this challenge is starting now. My Sunday mornings in the summer are so very different from my Sunday mornings in the winter - with only the watching of CBS Sunday Morning in common - and I'm looking forward to participating in this challenge!
What shots am I looking forward to taking?
- Sipping coffee while out on the deck
- The view of the lake at dawn
- Sun streaming in bedroom windows
- Sleeping children
- Read newspapers scattered on the floor
- Kids out on kayaks
- Walking to Bronte
- Over in the park - swings, slides, monkey bars
- Raindrops on windows
- Heading to church
- In the rink
- Welcome relief from Pub Night
- On the road
- Making brunch
What about you? Any specific Sunday Morning photos you want to capture?
Here is mine, for today:

SUNDAY MORNING | 001 Sticks
Today was Cole's final practice with his current hockey team. Since September his sticks have been lined up by our front door so he has easy access to them: game stick, back up stick, road hockey stick, stick handling stick, tester stick, a stick for every possible purpose and more. Even though he doesn't stop hockey for the summer, he doesn't need as easy access so by the end of the day this sight will be gone and moved down to it's summer home, in the basement - or better - the garage!
. . . . .
Have some fun and be sure to join in!
