DO SOMETHING CREATIVE
Every day I am fortunate to be as creative as I choose to be: some days more, some days less. My creativity takes many forms but primarily it finds release in written form. I write articles, blog posts, comments, status updates, lists and story outlines which may turn into real works of fiction in one form or another!
Other creative outlets I have found and enjoy: photography, album making, meditation, cooking, container gardening, doodling, brush script, singing, planning, book design and self publishing. There are plenty of other things I'd like to try: pottery, painting, etching, jewelry design, sewing, needlework - oh so many opportunities!
The question: What can you do that is creative today? How can you stretch your creativity muscles?
Well, today is going to be a bit of a challenge as I'm off to a volleyball tournament with my youngest and if his team does well we'll be home late. I have to be portable with my creativity as I often find myself in parking lots and waiting rooms! Today? I am bringing my ever-present notebook, coloured markers and editorial calendar so I can get a head start on a few writing projects. Of course, I'll be taking photos as well!

Like Bree Hester, I believe you choose to be happy. Sure there are bad (out of your control) things that happen, but how you handle them is completely up to you. Your choices are your responsibility - there is no blame, no shame, no nothing but accountability. Your attitude is your decision. I choose to be happy. Happy within the context of not wearing the proverbial rose-coloured glasses or any expectation that those who populate my life have made the same choice :) Last October, Bree put together 31 DAYS TO A HAPPIER YOU and, armed with her PDF, I'm using March - that dreary time between winter and spring that seems to drag on forever - to make the conscious choice to be happy every day this month!
