You may have noticed things have slowed down here at Embrace Life. That has been unintentional but greatly enjoyed - except for the moments I abruptly realize I've forgotten the blog and frantically try to come up with something brilliant to share - with varying degrees of success.
I've decided to take a break.
Susannah Conway has organized The August Break 2013 and I'll be participating. It is a photography challenge and I haven't done one in a while.
My break will be full: in August I'll be taking oodles of photos, hosting the ONElittleWORD blog hop, helping with lots of moving (my sister and her family back to Toronto, my cousin's son to Hamilton, ON, my daughter's friend to Vermont and my daughter to Kingston, ON), continuing with my Hello Monday practice, ordering books for the start of school, participating in the Deepak & Oprah Meditation, taking our annual holiday to Cape Cod, reading plenty of books, writing in a moleskine journal and not worrying about how it looks, updating the kids uniforms - new shirts, shoes and pants - for school and getting my calendar organized - after all, September is the new January, right?
Essentially, I will spend August just being. Still and open. Relaxing, regrouping and deciding on the things I want to shed and those things I want to keep moving forward.
Enjoy the month ahead - I know I will!
