Third time is the charm?
Claire has had her ears pierced - twice. Each time something has happened and an earring came out and the hole sealed up really quickly. Chloé has never expressed an opinion one way or another so it never occured to me that she wanted her ears pierced.
Until a couple of weeks ago.
Claire called up to Way Cool Tattoos, knowing that they knew what they were doing, and made an appointment for both she and her sister. I thought I was going to simply drop them off. Not a chance! I had to arrive, with photo ID for all of us. Passports in hand, we signed documents and swore we were who we are.
Then it was off to the back room. The girls (and I) received a lengthy explanation of the procedure as well as what is to be done to encourage healing: eat well, wash your hands often, dry completely, lots of really good information on organics and alternative healing therapies. LOVE that a guy covered in tattoos and questionable dental work was giving my girls the same talk they hear from me! The talk took about an hour, the actual piercing took about a half hour.
Then my girls, with their Swarofsky sparklers - pink and clear - were done.
Let's hope these "take"!
