I am a big fan of Gretchen Rubin and her Happiness Project. I read the book when it first came out and I follow her blog in my reader. I've mulled a few of her concepts and now that my life is (knock wood) less chaotic, I feel I can focus on some of the exercises.
Last week one of her posts asked about our 8 Auspicious Symbols which lead me to this post about getting started. Perfect. It took me a while, but I got it figured out! And, how do I incorporate all of these symbols in my life, regularly:
Oh my goodness, I just re-read all of that. Could I have used the phrase "my life" more often? Well, I suppose that's the purpose of the excercise :)
What about you? What are your Auspicious Symbols?
I'm hoping to engage more in my Happiness Project this year and at some point I'll be able to focus on developing my own 12 Personal Commandments and 8 Splendid Truths. Like Gretchen Rubin, I have an affinity for numbered lists :)
