I'm trying to refrain from using the word "busy" as it really does not reflect my days in a positive way ... so today is, like yesterday and the day before, full.
Not only is it 12of12 which will have me taking oodles of photos, but there is a bunch of stuff on my list that has to get done:
- Clean stovetop
- Strip paint from deck
- Make marinade and prepare dinner
- Take a walk or, if it rains, ride recumbent bike
- Create a layout for LOAD
- Plan out our summer dates now that we have all the necessary information
- Develop "studio purge" plan
- While I'm at it, consider one for the laundry room, too!
- Take Caden to rugby practice
- And, wash, dry and fold at least four loads of laundry
As lists go, this one is pretty manageable.
I'm learning, the key is to make a list that can get completed, not one that can overwhelm. I remember a woman who would forever rattle off her endless lists of things she needed to get done to prove to anyone listening that she was superwoman. I know she never got more than 2 or 3 things knocked off it - I think it's because the list was so long it took all of her energy to memorize it! My lists? They get done. And if they don't, it's a good start for my list tomorrow.
I hope you have lots of things scratched off your list today!
