I would:
- Stay up late. Every night.
- Hire a personal trainer. Finally get back to fit and healthy.
- Build a theatre at home to watch movies to avoid the grodiness of the public theatre.
- Move to the city. I miss the hustle and bustle and energy. The burbs? For the birds!
- Buy an 85mm/1.2f lens for my 40D. And a really great telephoto.
- Banish shame and longing from my heart.
- Spend a day with a photographer I love. Do you think Annie Liebovitz is hiring?
- Travel. There are so many places that I want to explore.
- Build the house of my dreams with a big verandah on a lake.
- Pay off all personal debt. Now.
- Just do it. Dig in and make the necessary changes.
- Find everything, exactly where I left it.
- Take a Mediterranean cruise – with my girlfriends.
- Hire a housekeeper. And a personal chef.
- Have a big north facing window-filled studio. White walls, brick walls, wood beams and big square storage cubbies with amber tinted glass for organizing. Lots of space for making messes and taking photos.
- Visit Africa and help somehow. Finish what I started in grade 12.
- Decorate my home the way I see it in my head.
- Learn another language - fluently. Starting with French and working my way to Russian and Mandarin.
- Write a bestseller. Or ten.
- Head back to NYC and go to MOMA and spend the day - or ten then take in some great Broadway shows and the restaurants! Oh.
- Build a two-storey library lined with leather books. And a ladder. Sigh.
- Abolish all clutter – physical and mental - from my life.
- Visit the Oregon coast. And breathe.
- Fill my home with big fat flowers – peonies and hydrangeas.
- Open my heart and let the light in, if only a little bit more.
