THE STORY: A while back Cole took my beloved Asics. This would normally not be a problem, but my boy has Flintstone feet and he stretched them beyond wearablility as he grew out of them. The beauty of Asics is that they have a high arch and a tight ankle and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately they are really expensive and I cannot often find my size (10.5) and have to order on line which, for those of us in the Great White North, is a royal (expensive) pain in the butt.
WHY DO? Part of my word choice this year is to keep me mindful and encourage me to make healthier choices. Instead of blaming my kid for stretching my sneakers thereby rendering me unable to walk or exercise, I cringed a little inside and did two things I really do not like: shopping (I had to go to three stores) and spending. I'm glad I got them - and the water bottle. They've been worn all week and they're lovely!
Bonus: I now know where to go to buy replacements - $99 and my size!
