I continue to rock the DO and enjoy the accountability of this challenge of Jill's: One Little Word | Captured. It has me thinking of what to do and what to share next, in a photographable way. Something tangible, with dimension, heft, not just something I've done on the computer or errand I've completed. Exactly what I wanted for this year!
This is how I captured DO this week:
THE STORY: A couple of years ago, as a thank you gift, I received the star, moon, heart, flower collection of pewter mini magnets. They are adorable and I really like them. So much so, I purchased two tins of each kind in order for me to have them around as quick gifts for others. Guess what? I gave them out, many of them, to friends and teachers, and I have a few left. Kind of a mini-hoarder situation. "Keep for special" "Don't use myself - they're a gift" "You never know when you'll need it". You know the deal.
WHY DO? They aren't too special for me to use! It's like "saving the good china". Why? They were purchased to be enjoyed not to be stuck in the tins in the hall hutch. So, I have pulled them out of hiding and am enjoying them on my magnet board in my studio. Now I see them and I smile. Before? I didn't even see them. That's no good, at all!
I have THREE tins left: School, Gardening and Angels. For you! Leave me a comment by 10PM Eastern on Saturday, January 22nd and let me know what you don't use in your house because it is deemed "too special" to qualify to win one of the three tins.

JOIN: I'm thrilled my friend Jill has offered us all an opportunity to keep on track! I don't know about you, but this weekly accountability is good for me. One LIttle Word | Captured is the perfect way for me to incorporate my one little word in to my life. What about you?
