Today marks month 36 in my 12 of 12 journey. You see, I started this monthly challenge in February 2008 and I have participated in it every month since. I truly enjoy this challenge and each month look forward to the 12th - it has truly become part of the fabric of our family. So much so, my kids are long past the "oh, god" stage and now they remind me the night before to charge my batteries and sometimes even to change my lens.
Recently I (finally) settled on an album format to use to showcase each month. I'm putting all of the photos in a 6x8 grid, printing it up, adhering it to some journaling and voila, a nice hybrid page is made. Well, right now, they are not made. The elements are sitting in the project box ready to be assembled. It is one of my "do" projects that will get done - hopefully in celebration of my 3rd anniversary next month :)
In the meantime, here are my grids for 2010:
January:
March:
April:
November:
Today I have my batteries charged, my CF card has been cleared and I'm ready to go! Hopefully I'll get a chance to leave the house, looking out into the darkness we've received a blanket of snow overnight. I'm waiting patiently to hear if the schools are open - or really, if the busses are running. We haven't had a snow day in recent memory. My kids are obsessed with figuring out when it was. Keeps them busy while we eat breakfast and wait for the news crawl!
I will share pictures of my 12th tomorrow, and hopefully have the full album done for my 3rd anniversary next month!
