Another glorious day is coming to an end.
I had planned on heading over to RibFest with Louis and the kids, in Burlington, for the better part of the day but my boys announced that they like my ribs better so we stayed home and I was happy to make ribs for dinner. Well, I was happy to prepare. For the first time ever it was Caden on the grill, with close supervision by Louis.
Earlier Cole met up with a couple of boys at Joshua's Creek Arena where they watched a couple of talented Junior A teams - St. Mikes Majors vs. a team from Noranda. Cole has been playing hockey for years now but never really sat down to watch games. He enjoyed it and we'll be taking him to more over the season.
I spent my day playing catch up and I have my vision board almost done as well as my Mission Statement and values recorded. I'm really enjoying my Live A Better Life project! The journey has, so far, been enlightening.
Claire and Marley did head over to RibFest to meet up with some friends. I don't know how much they'll actually eat, but I'm sure they'll have a ton of fun! I'm off to get them now.
Once that's done, Louis and I are meeting friends at the pub and we will toast to the end of summer and welcome routine and order back to our lives!
