I am a huge fan of Mark Twain, a tremendous humourist, writer and observer of people. His metaphors are so visual. My quote book is overflowing with his observations. It was one of those that has stuck with me over the years and I've used the phrase "eat the frog" on more than one occasion with my kids - often it was met with looks of bewilderment, then a collective "eww", and now they laugh.
EAT A LIVE FROG FIRST THING IN THE MORNING AND NOTHING WORSE WILL HAPPEN TO YOU THE REST OF THE DAY.
Indeed.
Then it dawned on me, I have a few frogs of my own. Instead of making a simple list of frogs to be eaten, I thought it would be a perfect mini book - one of my recent obsessions.

What about you? Do you have any frogs?
Do you have any quotes that have inspired you to make a mini album or a layout?
Let me know what you think!
(PS I would be remiss if I didn't thank Maegan for starting a group over at BlogFrog, which twigged this whole idea in the first place! The whole "frog" thing stuck with me and this was the result. Funny where inspiration is found, eh?)
