A typical summer day. Aah. So relaxing.
Technically I'm a bit late as the equinox was on the 21st! But, as of the afternoon school bell today, the youngers are out for summer. They can now join the olders who have been out on holiday, after surviving ASCENT and exams, since the 18th. They've been celebrating by sleeping!
I am going to unplug for a bit. I've been blogging consistently every day for a while now. I enjoy it immensely. I am afforded the luxury of daily blogging because the kids are busy at school all day and now those days are over until September. I remember last year it was really hard to keep up, so this year I'm not making a commitment to blogging daily. Just every once in a while, when the urge or inspiration hits!
Who knows, the spontaneity of summer might be good for me. Or not. I do not function well without framework. I will surely have some kind of breakdown, or epiphany, or both. Or maybe I'll finally learn to embrace the simple joy and freedom of it all. In any case, if you're around, stop by.
Bring wine :)
