The girls have gone on their holiday to Florida and the change around here has been thorough. Much play outside with both boys shooting on the hockey net, and each other; going to the creek and biking to the village. The cupboards have been filled with Lucky Charms and Reeses Puffs. Most meals, as requested, have consisted of meat and ice cream, with a bit of pizza and pasta to round it out. I do not believe we've purchased anything green for a few days, oh, yes we did, some Sprite, the bottle is green, right?
The boys are enjoying their nutritional holiday:
and watching plenty of television when they're not sleeping for many hours on end, watching movies, going to the rink for hockey practice and 3on3 as well as playing plenty of road hockey.
We're all back to reality on Monday, so I'm happy to indulge them, if only for a little while.
