Earlier in the week we put up the Christmas Tree. By "we" I mean Claire and Cole, who are out of school, assembled it (too many allergies in our house for a real tree) and brought up all the decorations. Chloe and Caden put on the decorations once they got home from school.
So, my SOOC for this Saturday is this:
A simple activity which turned into an all-day process the kids loved. They are so fun to watch together. I'm happy to have relinquished my roll as holiday-decorator and enjoy watching them discover new things, try new things and negotiate with each other where things go and why. Nothing, well almost nothing, is where I'd put it, but they're all happy and that's what counts, right?
