I'm getting a bit light-headed. I've been taking a lovely creative research journey through the land of links, more links and then a few more! There are so many creative opportunities available, especially to an internet e-course junkie like me!
I see this at Persisting Stars and drool over the possibilities, after all, "yes" is one of my favourite words! Then there is a plethora of brilliance at Shimelle.com and over at Big Picture Scrapbooking and upcoming at Feeling Scrappy. Get it Scrapped has tons to offer, as does Jessica Sprague. The Goddess Guidebook is filled with ideas to tweak your creative spirit and aid your journey. Jamie Ridler always has something going on over at her studio. There is a new e-course offering by Marisa at Creative Thursday. I'm sure the lovely Susannah Conway is going to offer her Unravelling courses again.
I can barely stand the temptation!
But, instead, I'm going to be spending 2010 following my own journey, not one designed by someone else. Though, I'm not flying solo, my course will have a guide, some structure:
I hope to participate, consistently, at:
and maybe,
as well as on the occasional challenge, page call and ideas over at:
and for productivity, I plan to continue to participate in
(I'm looking for a simple 12-photo quick page, if anyone knows of a good one, or has one to share, send it to me, please!)
(and I think I've finally decided on a presentation format, yay me!)
for which I've found a natural offshoot:
as well as the ambitious but not to be missed
LayOutADay Challenge hosted by Lain Ehmann
and continue my
which was inspired by Lain's October LOAD challenge
with hope that some other brilliant, creative, opportunity arises. Who knows, it may have already. There are quite a number of inactive challenge blogs filled with still-brilliant ideas. I plan on checking out One Little Word, The Art is Found, The Journaler's Junction, for some inspiration.
Oh, and maybe finish up all of those other e-course projects I've started and left in various states of incomplete throughout my studio!
If I'm really good, really well behaved and finish every project I start, I even have a reward for myself. For the last couple of years I've really, really, wanted to attend the Squam Art Workshop in the fall. How's that for planning ahead? I can't wait for January 4th when they post the new courses and details!
Where are your favourite places to play? Am I missing out on some great place? Some creative opportunity that has passed me by?
